Dive

Dive

Dive is the solo project of Dirk Ivens, former frontman of Belgian EBM prime-movers The Klinik. His music is an exciting mix of industrial, EBM, noise and experimental sounds.

Murderous Vision

Murderous Vision

The formation of Murderous Vision was a bit of a necessity. Formed as an anti-rock music entity in the autumn of 1994 by Stephen Petrus and John Dixon. Several nights of experimentation and use of altering chemicals produced the first album... lost. Falling somewhere between the genres of Industrial, Metal and oddly enough acoustic rock music, this album became the antithesis of what it would stand for in the future. A decision for the better was made, and Dixon left the project midway through 1996 and the
sessions for the second album... loathe. This album in retrospect reflects the mental confusion and self discovery of it's composer. Stylistically this is the most varied of all Murderous Vision, a direct result of it's creator and the search to find oneself in a sea of depression.

For the next couple of years the project was on hiatus while other avenues were explored, mainly the Death Industrial project In Death's Throes. Working with this project, and collaborator Brian Sutter was crucial to the future direction of Murderous Vision and Stephen's development as an artist. The return of Murderous Vision in 1999 was manifested in the album Suffocate... the Final Breath. This album, while less varied in style, was the first completely focused effort. There were no strange twists and turns, unlike the first two albums. The album pretty much hovered around a dark ambient approach and set the stage for the future of the band.

The next full length offering, after a split release with Acclimate and the first wave of many compilation appearances worldwide, was The Times Without Gods. A solid effort which introduced the use of melody and classically based music refrains into the equation of dark ambient and industrial. This album received a great deal of positive press and was well respected in the underground industrial scene as well as giving Murderous Vision it's first appearance in a film score. After some live shows to support the album
Stephen embarked on a series of special releases that showed a more visceral and violent approach. The first of these was the split album with Kuru, Blood Brain Barrier. These tracks were based on the mindset of homicidal mania and the urban dumping grounds in which he dwells. Utilizing a grinding death industrial soundscape and manic vocals, it was light years departed from the sounds used in the past. Two other releases over the next year continued in this direction. These were 2003's Burning the Promised Land EP
and another split release, this time with sludgecore masters Black Mayonnaise.

With the recording of the first CD... lost approaching 10 years in 2005 thoughts of marking this in some way began to form. It was desired to collect all the comp tracks and the aforementioned splits together in a special set. These releases were all mostly of the CDR format and with this 10 year anniversary it was decided to preserve this work in a permanent format. The result was 2005's Ghosts of the Soul Long Lost double CD set.
The current year 2006 has been the best year yet for Murderous, with the release of it's most ambitious effort yet, Life's Blood Death's Embrace, which is a return to the structures of The Times Without Gods with more detail on composition and recording techniques. Also a few short films have been created and scored by the band for use live and to stand alone as individual pieces of art. The year will wrap up with the first ever live appearances by the band on European soil. Including a performance at the esteemed Prague Industrial Festival. The future? Stay tuned to find out...

Tábor Radosti

Tábor Radosti

Their first musical composition was done in 1992 under the name Warsaw Gheto. Later on, influenced by writings of George Orwell, they renamed the project for Tabor Radosti (Camp of Joy) in 1995. In 1997, Tábor Radosti performed live for the first time - a piece called "1984" sounded at the industrial festival in Telè. During the next two years, the band has been working with new technologies and in the beginning of 2001 the band recorded and released their debut CD Tabor Radosti. Two years later, TR recorded and released new CD Havamal, influenced by shamanistic techniques of altered states of consciousness and the need to express a strong rejection with Western religious systems. Havamal, also known as the "Preachings of the Highest", is an old Scandinavian text whose origins are unclear. In this text, the god Odin is held in high regard because of his ability to obtain the secret wisdom of self immolation which brought from the depths the holy secret of runes whispering.

Drahomira Song Orchestra

Drahomira Song Orchestra

The Drahomira Institute was founded 10 years ago, by French former cinema students Julien Pacaud and Jean-Christophe Sanchez, back from a journey to Karlovy Vary, were they presented their first collaborative movie. Since then, several artistic fields have been explored by the Drahomira Institute, such as graphic design, painting, literature, music and, of course, cinema.

The Drahomira Song Orchestra (mainly Pacaud & Sanchez) is its musical subsidiary. Their first appearance was an improvised 1-hour sound performance in the streets of Paris (entitled "The Justa Kidigan Doll and Teddy Hospital"), on June 1997. After this experience which gave birth to the D.S.O., Pacaud & Sanchez began to work on the making of several recordings. As they work most of the time separately, their music alternates between two main styles : cosmic ambiant moods with minimalist melodies and industrial loops "a la Boyd Rice". More than 40 of these albums were produced at this day, but most of them were never officially released.

8 years after their inaugural public performance, they were invited to participate to the 2-days event "Un week-end sous Tempsion" at Le Point Ephémère, Paris, in May 2005 where they presented the "Gilles de la Tourette show".
At this occasion, Jean-Christophe Sanchez had also the opportunity to collaborate with J3@sEUQCAJ from the cult Belgian band à;GRUMH for a wild and blasting show. Their work is now know as "Theee Rebearth Corporation Vs 3.47".

Inade

Inade

Masters Of The Unknown, The Sonically Obscure...
Published in SPECTRUM - MAGAZINE (September 2000) by JC Smith

When listening to Inade, one is captivated by the fact that, in therealm of all that is sonically dark and explorative, Inade go to placesthat even the most vivid dark sonicscape practitioners have yet to traverse. The edge of the universe is but a starting point, the perimeters ofunknown dimensions, but launching pads, for the dense, ultra-panoramiccreations of Inade's sonic cartographers. Since 1991, they have reveledin the creation of music that is limitless, bound to nothing, not eventhe fathomless reservoir of imagination that overflows from the mindsof its creators. As explained by Inade: "The main focus is to transformideas, concepts or legends which are congruent with our own thoughtsand interests. Inade is like an echosounder into unseen / unheard plainsand abstract spheres where the anonymous becomes alive. We want to placetraces into inter-dimensional spheres from where the listener gets asonic silhouette, a puzzle of innumerable pieces. The development ofthe music was probably half calculated and half have elements of chanceplayed a role. During the first years we have changed our equipmentquite often and mostly we worked with very limited sources. That iswhy the final results were more or less depending from what the soundsources gave. Later the conditions became much better and we were ableto control and influence the process in the way we wanted." 2000 sees the band shifting into creative overdrive as a plethora of re-issuesand new materiel peers over the horizon. "At the moment we arein the process of recording the new full length album. Although it isquite difficult to describe one's own recordings with words, we cansay at this point that the new material becomes more intensive and physical. The Crackling Of The Anonymous will be our most complex single work, and we hope that we can finish it during the Autumn of 2001. We aregoing to release this CD on our Loki label." Also on the forefront:"The Colliding Dimensions Live LP, with material from the showswe had in the States, the UK, and recently in Prague. Other plans areto reissue the Burning Flesh MC onto a limited CD edition through Loki. That tape was released in 1993 and we are just remastering it and wewill add also 30 minutes of unreleased material." How did the showsin the states go ? Any highlights... or lowlights ? "Before wetraveled to the States we have been warned that the conditions to playlive Overseas are pretty bad. Maybe we had luck but we cannot agreewith that. The whole tour and all the shows went very well and we wereabsolutely satisfied with it. Jason Mantis [Malignant] and many othersdid great jobs to organize the events and we felt very welcome there.Beside a mono P.A. in Toronto and some tiring and long driving, therewere no real lowlights during the tour." Also just out or forthcoming:the re-issue of 1996's Aldebaran CD, probably the definitive Inade experience(so far), shattering one's meager perceptions of what to expect fromdark sonicscape music, a roiling confluence of space and time, dreamand dimension, myth and mystery, all channeled through a textural skinof human, alien and insectile design (then again, 1999's V.I.T.R.I.O.L.7" showed the band expanding on previous sonic notions, an awe-inspiringtour de force that is nothing less than phenomenal !); and the justreleased Quartered Void 7", one of the innumerable puzzle pieces, the link between Aldebaran, The Flood Of The White Light 10", andthe V.I.T.R.I.O.L. 7". As they continue to meld the seemingly known (though each of our perceptions of 'the known' may differ greatly, asconstructed by each of our personal psychological and sociological inhibitions)with the seemingly unknown (though each of our perceptions of 'the unknown'may be hampered by denial, by the fear of allowing 'the unknown' anysubstantial foothold in each of our singular realities), the work ofInade is, ultimately, designed to open doorways into the possible, inwhich the dark and the light, the past and the future (as well as the'roiling confluence' of aural impressions gleaned from Aldebaran's vastsonic portfolio), embrace. Because Inade is the key. It's up to thedaring listener to unlock the door. The sonic possibilities are infinite...

Einleitungszeit

Einleitungszeit

This Slovak band exists more than 10 years. The early experiments laterled to ultimate death-industrial sound which brought Einleitungszeit status one of genre top-classics. Longtime original set-up changed in 1999 when P-01 (Patryc Cyber) was replaced by hallucinatory throat of Martin Jarolim (from VO.I.D.). P-01 capitulated and still dedicates himself to his solo project Simulacrvm which debut CD "Zevgma" was released two years ago on Old Europa Café.

After many releases are Einleitungszeit well-known worldwide nowadaysand their live performances have been seen by audiences not only in Slovakia and Czechia but also in Poland and Germany - with more then positive reaction and successful acceptance.

The very first tapes "Die Menschzerstörung", "Menschliche Destruktive Zivilisation" and "Kremation Gesch-Lechtslos" were released by Slovak Crewzine. This material was followed by LP "Aus dem Laboratorium" on German Art Konkret label. Another release "L´accouchement des machines humaines" was realized on Finnishlabel Freak Animal. Afterwards American cult Recalcitrant Noise took care about this project and the results were two vinyl albums "R MenschI Tanatologie" (2LP) and "Aus der Leichenkammer" which was censored on Slovakia because of quite shocking and unacceptable cover.

During 1999 was recorded and released first Einleitungszeit CD "Doba úvodu", unfortunately after split of the original set-up and leaving of Patrick. This could be called as a truly memento of the "old time Einleitungszeit". First Einleitungszeit video release "Schrei des Feuers" (organic live performance 1999) was released on Ars Morta Universum on the eve of 1999 and the second one "Hirnlarm" (inhuman solarized visionof live performance from 1997) on the same label a year later.

Now different labels plan re-releases of mentioned older stuff - Die Menschzerstörung CD should be released on Black Plagve, LP Menschliche Destruktive Zivilisation should appear in the catalogue of Recalcitrant Noise and LP / CD Kremation Gesch-Lechtslos will be put out by Ars Morta Universum.

Einleitungszeit live actions are very intense, often described as "negativeor destructive", but they have more common with ecstasy when R-01uses grinder directly on his chest (protected only with thin metal plate) or burning his hands with asbestos gloves or grinding an iron band around his neck. Sometimes, these emanations of joy could not be left without a harm; R-01 was burned or hit by electricity for many times.

The sound is absorbing, clear and powerful. Forty minutes of theirstage storm brings ecstasy and feelings of transformation through sound, spirit and fire. The imagery of master-slave relationship, the embodiment of human alienation, those are information transmitted by the cyber-apostles for the next century, for hybrids and clons century.

Schloss Tegal

Schloss Tegal

Here would be realised the apothetical goals of science and the occult: matter, energy, thought indivisible. Dominion over time and space. Schloss Tegal's "Black Static Transmission" CD is a journey into the cold vortex of the antiworld and black static oscillations beyond our human perceptions, unless we possess the appropriate mirror to show us the antiworld. Schloss Tegal Has given us that mirror with "Black Static Transmission". A neo-terric power electronic dreamscape beyond the darkness, voices on magnetic tape, from heaven to hell and to the center of the universe. Its a chance now to witness something you thought could never be.

C.H. District

C.H. District

Miroslaw Matyasik started his artistic activity in 1996 and became part of the silesian ambient/noise/experimental scene. The basis of his activity as a musician is the oneman project C.H. DISTRICT, connecting the tradition of industrial music with contemporary "intelligent electronic" productions. He is cooperating with the performance/videoart group SUKA OFF, supporting them as an actor as well as with original music productions. In the years 1998-2001 he published at his own expense two CDs "Pneuma-ti-coi" and "Continuance". In 2002 C.H. DISTRICT signed a contract with the french label M-TRONIC. The first official record, split with the Dutch artist DUUSTER, was well received in Poland, but mainly in France and the UnitedStates. At the beginning of 2005 came out the second C.H.DISTRICT LP recorded for the Parisian label Slides.
